"22 Seltos and trouble with struts, they aren't holding up properly anymore, making it a bit of a hassle when I need to check under the hood or do any maintenance. annoying as it is and I'm starting to wonder if this is a common problem with the 2022 model or if I just got a faulty set, similar issues out there? Also, if anyone has replaced them, what brands or parts would you recommend for something more durable? I'm actually considering replacing them myself cos I think its something I can handle on my own or should I take it to a pro.

yeah, this is a pretty common problem with the '22 Seltos. I had the same issue. I changed mine out in about 10 minutes,it was really easy. All I needed was a flathead screwdriver and a friend to hold the hood up.I went with Stabilus, which feels much stronger than the original. Duralast is also a good choice if you're looking to save some cash. It's definitley something you can do on your own
