My wife and I are looking into purchasing a brand new Seltos but we don't want to drop the money yet until we know it's working well in subzero temperatures, even up to -15/-20? It's gonna be our daily driver but our family spends a long time in North Dakota especially in winter. Just last season, our other vehicle warned us of a steering system malfunction because it was getting below -10. We want to avoid a potential headache so we'd appreciate advice from experience.

I have the 23 sx trim and I live in Montana and I haven't experienced any problems with colder temps. I do have to mention that my area sees temps no longer than zero, so I have no idea if it will be the same for negative temps

We've had our Seltos up in Minnesota winters, no major issues so far. Even at -20°F. You judt need a good battery and maybe block heater. Other than that, perfect for you already.

From what I've seen, Seltos holds up pretty well in cold temps, but obviously any electric assisted system can throw warnings if things get super cold

After 4 winters with my Seltos where I"m regular in places most people wouldn't even see on the TV, I can say I've never had any problems. TO be fair, this winter I did have some trouble starting it, but that's on me, because I should've replaced the battery.
