Unsolicited cleaning tips

I've been using leather wipes on my shifter and steering wheel and they've worked pretty well for me so far. They clean up nicely without leaving any slick residue. If you've got all weather mats you can use the wipes on those as well, they clean up great without making them slippery. Also, I found that the floor mats from a Gen 3 Soul fit perfectly in the Seltos so I ended up using the front ones from my old Soul. Hope it helps even a bit.

Nice tip! Its a clever reuse of the Soul floor mats for sure. Have you tried the wipes on the seats too, or just the trim and mats?

I never thought to try the Soul mats in the Seltos. Nice hack you got right there. And yeah, those leather wipes are really an essential for quick cleanups without that greasy feel.

That's great! I really like the Soul mat swap, such a smart idea. I've used those leather wipes myself and I completely agree, they don't leave a messy residue. Have you given them a shot on the seats yet, or are you just using them for the wheel and shifter?

I tried leather conditioning wipes on the Syn-Tex seats and door panel and it left darker spots. I cleaned it off and only use the conditioner for the steering wheel and shifter cover and boot.Everything else gets my normal treatment, which is a mild cleaner and tire foam sprayed on a microfiber cloth.
